2 months post op and had to have another surgery

I was having problems eating and drinking about a month post-op with severe nausea.  I was hospitalized twice and had all the tests done (endoscopy, CT, etc.).  No ulcers, leaks, hernias, or obstructions were found.  The surgeon wanted to take a look inside.  I was hesitant about letting him cut me open again, but I let him because I could not take it anymore and we were all at a loss at what could be wrong with me.  So when he went inside he saw that my intestine had an adhesion to my stomach and itself (i.e., it was kinked).  Anyway, he had never seen it before and I have not run across anyone else with the problem, so I thought I would share it with everyone here that was trying to help me diagnose my problem!  Anyway, I am not even a week post-op and I can drink and eat again!  How nice it is to be hydrated and enjoy a little food:)

I haven't had that happen to me but I just wanted to tell you to hang in there and I'm sorry that it happened to you!  Hopefully the problem is fixed and you can stay out of the OR for awhile.
